Summer is raging over Europe and vacation time is upon us - this gives a bit more time to reflect and focus on future projects.

Today I learned how to set the background image from command line on macOS - this is very handy but to be honest I'm mainly using a default wallpaper these days.

Today I learned about the dark side of Googles reCAPTCHA - please keep in mind that if you are a user and you are are clicking on vehicles or store fronts you are really helping Google train their AI - and if you are using the reCAPTCHA on your site you are forcing your users to train Googles AI.

Today I learned about Nginx. Well - I knew about Nginx but this article also describe the C10k problem and this reiterates that Nginx is perhaps a bit more modern server.
